I ordered a large number of items to serve to him and our grown children at Christmas, thinking it would be a nice surprise. Zahle Bakery’s food transported us back to my mother‑in‑law’s kitchen and had my husband in tears.

Zahle Bakery flavors are spot on! The baba ganouj is smoky and tangy. The tabbouli is bright and lemony. The grape leaves were impossibly tight, which have the deep flavor of meat imparted in the rice. The dough Zahle Bakery makes for spinach, meat, and cheese pies is so light and pillowy and the perfect carrier for flavorful meat, creamy/salty cheese, and lemony spinach fillings.

Really, everything we ordered bordered the sublime. I am now going to order (smaller!) weekly meals, as Zahle Bakerys  food is just so phenomenal.
