Where to start?
First, I am thrilled that my dear friends have launched a website with amazing food for everyone to try. Husband Youssef / Joe and Wife Dorine (aka “Baby” to me…) are both fine people with mad skills! Joe is crazy-good with technology/programming – and baking! (Who woulda’ thunk it?) And Baby is the best, most creative person/chef I have ever met. Her creative juices literally ooze out of her with in everything she does, but truly, she shines in the kitchen. I have had the opportunity to cook with Baby and and Joe and enjoy their cooking many, many times over the 20-ish years we’ve known one another. If you like Mediterranean food, try theirs! Literally, it’s the best I’ve ever had – and I spent 3 weeks in Greece!
At the top of my favorites list is “Baby’s Hot Stuff!” (Can you guess where the name came from? To this day, I do not know the real name of this dish.) Early on, it was one of the items she prepared for a party and I had never had anything like it. That far back, I said “YOU NEED TO MARKET THIS STUFF – and call it “Baby’s Hot Stuff!” Finally, that dream has come to fruition and a sampling of their talent is available for all.
