Our bakery Forn Abou Elias was founded in 1962 by my father. He loved the old world charm and family life in a small Lebanese town called Zahle. Zahle is knows as the Canyon Neighbor, it literally sleeps on the hills of a canyon and a river that flows in the middle of town. My brother Elias runs the day-to-day business and has retained the old charm of the bakery.
I am proud to say that our little bakery is visited by people from all over Lebanon and the world. I get so excited and happy every time I see a tweet or YouTube video of our bakery with visitors from Germany, Australia and Japan to name a few.
